Quick Updates...

Okay, i've been busy lately, so i apologize for the stagnant condition of my blog. Anyhow, this is just a quick update to let you people know that i am still quite alive...

Anyway, i just had lunch.. and i'm using this as an interval before i need to get back to useless assignments and other loads of work... =.="

Okay, so where do we start... We'll start with yesterday.. ^^ Yesterday we spent the entire day converting the study room into our... 'living quarters'...? (if it may even be so called)... This was no small task and it took an immense amount of cleaning, dusting, rearranging and generally stripping the study room of everything. However, the biggest task, by far, would probably be moving the bunk bed from one room to the next... we had to dismantle the whole thing, bring it into the room in pieces, and then put everything back together.... and being the lazy people that we are, Lee Wen and i decided to do it all without the manual, reasoning that logic should being us the outcome that we wanted. This, of course, lead to certain amounts of frustration, but eventually, the bed was put back in one piece. Another problem we encountered would have to be the fact that there was limited workspace and therefore a lot of lifting and mid-air assembling had to be done. This was, of course, both tiring and tedious , but inevitable. All in all, everything was done just in time for a shower, then bedtime. so i guess it practically took the whole day. And now, our greatest fear would be that of the bed not being put together correctly, which may result in it collapsing... ON ME!! >.< i sleep on the bottom bunk...

and since we were re-doing the room, we decided to put ribbons nearly everywhere.. >.<


And this is what i need to get back to doing... this is one of the many rocks under my feet... insignificant in a way, yet causing immense amounts of pain... =.="


By the way, those books are expensive.... and our lecturer wouldn't let us use 2nd hand ones from our seniors... something about the 'editions' being different.... HOW DIFFERENT COULD IT BE?! Seriously... =.=" and therefore, i had to spend 65 bucks on a book about how to write essays... I could write that book for you... and so far, nothing i've read in there seems to be anything new to me at all... but, i'll be patient and see if at one point it suddenly becomes useful ( though i doubt that would ever be the case)... This Subject is also causing a lot of grief in my life... it is HAMPERING my natural literary skills... i cannot believe that people writing college level essays are limited to 500 words... i CANNOT write a narrative in 500 words... =.=" This is all NONSENSE!!! Frustrating NONSENSE!! >.<

Sociology is another pain in the ass.... sometimes i wonder what good the useless heaps of assignments will bring me.... nevertheless, i am forced to complete them.... 'commenting on the news' and 'selecting and justifying my choice of world leaders' happen to be the worst yet, but i'll keep you posted if things get any more ridiculous... Somehow i hope that throughout my law career, these things will never come back to haunt me... >.<

This is some 'study prayer' thing i got from the Christian Fellowship... i know you can't read it, so i'll type it out for you... cuz i think its really cute... ^^

Study Prayer

The Lord is my Shepherd,

when i should be studying
He restores my faith in study guides
He leads me to better study habits
for my grades sake
When i walk through the valley
of borderline grades
I will not have a nervous breakdown
for Thou art with me

My test paper runneth with question i recognize
surely passing grades and flying colours
will follow me all my days of examinations
and i shall not have to dwell in this exam hall
FOREVER!!

I keep this in my file... haha... its a good read once in awhile.. ^^

Happy Birthday, Miki... ^^

Yesterday was my birthday.. !! Joy!! ^^ but i really wish i was back in KK... there are sooo many people i miss back there and would have liked to celebrate my birthday with them.. BUT... thanx to all the sweet people here who helped make my birthday a wonderful, memorable event even though we are all away from home... I love you guys. Thanx a thousand!! ^^

The day was kicked off with Andrew and I catching the movie "Shutter"... and i found it to be a sweet sweet movie... A love story... or rather 'Undying Love' taken literally... ^^ So the next time your neck starts aching, better weigh yourself and see if you're any heavier... and i don't mean a bit heavier... i mean... the weight of two people.. >.< Anyway, it was a good movie. i liked it. Unlike the Thai version with featured scary disgusting ghosts covered in blood which are aimed to scare you, the English version emphasized much much more on the movie instead, which is probably why i felt it was a love story more than anything.

And i also discovered that watching horror movies with a plushie is EXCELLENT!! ^^
After the movie, we headed to Fish & Co. for lunch..

After lunch, we were joined by my cousin, Lee Wen... ^^ but unfortunately, there are no pictures of her as she deleted the only picture i took of her... Lee Wen don't give face.. >.<

After this we headed for the Curve along with Anyz... a lot of stuff happened in between, which will always be fond fond memories to the 4 of us... ^^

At the Curve, we headed to Cineleisure and watched Defintely,Maybe.. and.. LEE WEN FELL ASLEEP!!! and now swears that she HATES the movie... >.< while i don't exactly hate it, it wasn't at all romantic... in fact, i found that it was sad and pathetic, but i guess it was interesting all the same. However, Shutter definitely takes the Movie of the Day award...

After the movie, we headed for dinner... and we stumbled into... The Apartment.. BIG MISTAKE... unless you're swimming in cash, never attempt this.. but we kinda swore never to go back there again.. >.<

This was what i ordered... Strawberry Cooler... this costs 8 bucks, if you're wondering...
in the background is Anyz's drink... it costs another 8 bucks... >.< All in all the drinks costed us 26 bucks... and Lee Wen didn't even drink.. that means... 3 drinks... =.=" we're definitely NEVER coming back... Anyz calls the 26 bucks the 'price of our face' ... =.="

And after that, we went some 'house of pancakes' thing... Anyz wanted to try... and so we agreed... another mistake... in short... the food is expensive and yucky... >.< and like Lee Wen said, salty sausages and pancakes with steak sauce!!

But anyway, that's kinda how the night ended... we were EXHAUSTED!!! >.< but happy !! ^^

Another Day...

Today was another day.. lolx... and i spent the morning with a bunch of my cousin's cats.... actually.. i think i was being entertained by them a lot more than i was entertaining them... i'm growing accustomed to them, and SLOWLY learning their names.. there are sooooo many of them... >.<
Today i would like to show you some of the cats... not all... there are waaaay to many, but some... some... ^^

This is Cookie... Cookie has preeeeeetttyyyyy eyes... i love her eyes... she's a sweetheart... ^^

I wish i had eyes like that.. =( so pretty... then i can go kao leng zhai... >.<

Moving on, we have BabyBoy a.k.a Taiko... haha... he's pretty too (but fat) and his eyes are really special... ^^ This Taiko ar... he's really cute... but very very bad de... always bully people...

Next is our 'supermodel' Collette... this meow damn pretty.... but damn show off one... won't let me take nice pretty pictures... in the end... become liddat... =.="

Okay, enough publicity for the Meows... now presenting my cousin's mirror... ^^ its interesting...
And i would also like to take this opportunity to tell you a short short story..yesterday i was on the phone.. and decided to occupy myself in the meantime by gathering all the hair i found in the corners of room into a pile...
